P365 TE Day 85

Ancient City of Taxila in Pakistan

Travel Bite: When I went to Islamabad, the Capital City of Pakistan which is nice and green, we also got the chance to visit Taxila, an Ancient City, around 30km away. Taxila is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was considered by some to be one of the oldest Universities in the world.

Taxila is memorable to me because when Osama Bin Laden was caught, I was so sure, we passed Abbottabad, the area where he had a compound, on our way here. But that just may be my imagination. just saying.

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan
Date Photo Taken: February 2011
