P365 TE Day 93

Cochinillo from Segovia

Travel Bite: Segovia is easily accessible by train from Madrid. Just make sure you take the fast train, so you don't spend hours on it, if you're like us and you just want to go to Segovia to have Cochinillo for lunch. Segovia is known in the Castilla y Leon Region in Spain, as the home of the Cochinillo Asado (or Roast Suckling Pig).

There are numerous Cochinillo Restaurants beside each other in the city, and if I remember correctly, just like chicken, you get served a 1/4 of a baby pig that's so tasty, it's definitely worth the trip from Madrid.

After lunch, you can work of the food by walking around Segovia. They have a castle and the famous Aquaducts that you can explore before heading back to Madrid.

Location: Segovia, Spain
