Disney on Ice (2012) Princesses and Heroes

My cousin called me a few days ago to tell me she got us tickets to watch Disney On Ice. The year before, we were really planning to buy tickets, but we were lucky enough to be given free tickets by one of my friends for work, you can about that here. Since we just watched the show last year, I told myself that this year, we should remember to bring our own Disney toys and hide snacks in our bag (which we usually do) because the Disney merchandise they sell at the venue is really expensive.

Thanks Ninang Ria for the tickets,
Auntie Mennat for the Minnie Mouse Ears,
and Uncle Jo-E for Pluto.
Wow. We were heavily sponsored :)
Marky and Alay with Lucas.
We lent him Pluto.
I borrowed the ears when Sofia wasn't using them.
#NeverTooOldForDisney
The show started on time,
and Mickey and Minnie came out to welcome their guests.

The show for this year was Princesses and Heroes. Ooops, wrong props!
The first one up was Aladdin.
This is the part where he saved a Princess Jasmine in disguise in the market.
It's funny because we just watched Aladdin the Musical, so Sofia was telling everyone seated beside her that she knew the story of Aladdin.
The genie came out of the lamp.
And made Aladdin a prince so he could go marry Jasmine.
There was no magic carpet,
so Aladdin just carried Jasmine most of the time.

The next princess was Snow White.
She was sitting on her wishing well.
Then the dwarves came out.
Can you guess who is the missing one?
Then she meets her Prince.
And they live happily ever after.
There was no appearance of the poisonous apple :(

Then Belle came out.
Belle as a simple girl with the magic rose.
Then Lumière (or the Candlestick) comes out to serenade her with
Be Our Guest.
I think the Cutlery were my favorites this year.
I found it quite weird that there was no Beast or Prince.

Then the next one that came our was Price Eric with his sailors.
I don't really know Prince Eric. Marky just told me.
But I do know Sebastian!!! Hahaha.
The Ariel came out as a mermaid with Flounder.
Then in the middle of the scene, Goofy came out with his boat
with a handful of kids dressed as Princesses from the audience.
Then there was an intermission in the middle of The Little Mermaid portion.
After intermission, Princess Ariel came out as a person already.

I also didn't recognize the next one, but Marky told me it was the Princess from the Frog Prince.
I didn't know the Story was set in New Orleans.
Or was it just the Disney version?
Anyway, the prince comes out not a frog.
And they live happily ever after.

I'm sure you can guess who the next Princess is.
Because she was sleeping.
The Fairies helped the Prince by giving him the Shield and Sword of Truth.
He used it to vanquish the Dragon who was breathing fire on the ice.
And they lived happily ever after.

Then Goofy came out.
He was inviting all Princesses to the Royal Ball.
No Disney Story is complete without the evil Step Sisters.
Then Cinderella comes out in her Golden carriage.
The Prince comes to get her.
They dance the whole night.
And they must have fallen in love before midnight,
because no one lost a shoe.
Mickey and Minnie were also at the ball.
But, only to introduce the next Princess.

Then out came Rapunzel and her prince.
But they wore their clothes before they became royals.
There was really a lot of carrying Princesses going around.

Then Tinkerbell came out for the finale.
She rode Cinderella's carriage.
While all the Princesses and Heroes danced around her.
Then all of a sudden, she was higher than everyone.
Then there was fireworks.
Sungit boy didn't like the fireworks.
But he loved snacking on Cheetos,
and the chocolate milk they were sampling outside.
This is the original cast and crew that watched Disney on Ice.
The cousins.
Now we have kids!

Thanks for the tickets Ninang Ria! :)

It's still showing until Jan 3, if you want to catch it.
