Welcoming the New Year with an abundance of food

We had New Year's Eve dinner this year at Auntie Lilian's house. She's a close friend of the family, and she prepared such a big spread for us.

We were welcomed by this suckling pig.

He was the star of the buffet table.

There was also yummy Roast Duck.

My mom prepared Paella.

Then there was also Pomelo, Shrimp and Kani Salad.

Sofia loved the chicken duck and Paella rice.

The dessert was also really good.

There was Rainier Cherries.

and Cheesecake from Manila Pen.

Ady loves eating them together.

There was also Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream and really good coffee to seal the meal but I failed to take a picture.

After stuffing ourselves for dinner, we went home to prepare for our Annual New Year's Costume Party at Angkong and Grandma's house. The theme for this year is dress as your baby. This is the part of the night where we welcome the New Year with an abundance of weirdness. Hahaha.

My dad was so happy he got Sofia as his baby.
We bough a wig, told Lola Yaya to style it,
and he borrowed Sofi bear.

I was Marky, Ninang was Alay and Ady got to be Lukey

Good thing, I can be myself and Marky at the same time :)
Ria was Ady, Grandma was Mama and Sofia was Timmy.
Timmy, as Papa, was missing in action.

Auntie Fritzy was Auntie Ma, Uncle Joel was Uncle Boy,
Auntie Ma was Ria, and Jo-E was Miggy.

Yuki was Auntie Fritzy (?) or herself
(someone corny got her too),
Marky was Jo-E and
Lukey was Kiko when he still ate butter from the bar.

Jacob as his dad, and Mama as Auntie Stella.

Miggy was Uncle Raymond in his stretched at the
tummy T-Shirt and short shorts. Hahaha.
Alay was Auntie Judy.

Auntie Stella was Ninang Angeli,
and Kiko was Angkong.

This was our real family, in costume :)
