Cool Yule at Kinder Explorers

Sofia had her school program yesterday. It's her first time to participate in any school program because when she was studying in Singapore, our schedule was so erratic that she was absent for the practices and we would try to fly back to Manila as soon as we could so she also missed the program itself.

Sofia and her classmates

I admit I am a stage mom, so when we received lyrics to Away in a Manger to be memorized by Sofia, I bribed her with a toy so she new most of it by the second day. I also wanted to make sure we had good seats so we arrived at the venue a good 40 minutes before curtain call armed with the McDonald's breakfast we passed for on our way, and we reserved seats for us, the two yayas who came to watch and Ninang Ria, Uncle Marky and Lukey.

As soon as we got home. I even edited the video footage we took for better viewing pleasure. Hahaha.

Here are some other pictures:

Stage Moms. We were in Row 2... yeah! Hahaha.
Sofia was also part of the short opening skit.
She said "Decorations!"

Stills from Santa Baby:
Sofia definitely didn't get her dancing skills from me. She was really good at shaking her butt (making kembot).

The boys joined in when they danced to Santa Clause is Coming to Town.

The parents are given a chance to take a decent picture
after each class performs.
Lukey's favorite song was Jungle Bell Rock.

There was another short skit where Sofia had a longer line:
Christmas is "Love Being Shared"
There was a nativity scene,
but this was the only picture I took.
Then they sang "Away in a Manger" which Sofia really practiced for.
She also didn't get her singing talent from me. Hahaha.
Ninang Ri managed to make sure she was in front to video it.
The finale.

Thank you Lola Yaya, Ninang Ria, Uncle Marky and Lukey for coming to watch Fi :)
just saying.
