I haven't been to Hong Kong (HK) in more than 3 years. We used to come quite often because my aunt lives here with her family so we would visit them, eat and shop a lot. But because HK is further from Singapore, it wasn't easy for us to come when we were based there, so I was so happy when friends from work booked flights for the long (Manila Day) weekend.
There are 15 of us in the group so it is so much fun. Surprisingly, we're quite organized too. Food is clearly a priority for everyone, so we made it in time to get a table at Maxim's Palace in City Hall with minimal waiting time.

We were literally grabbing food off the dimsum carts like there was no tomorrow. Once our bellies were full, we headed to the (semi)-secret PRADA Outlet hidden in South Horizons, Ap Lei Chau. It takes HK$200 to get there by cab from Central, or you can take the local 590 bus or 592 bus (from Causeway Bay) for less than HK $7 as long as you have an octopus card or exact change.

This is us, on bus 590. |
The stop for the Prada Outlet is called The Oasis.
|
Then you turn left of the next street,
And you'll see this. |
|
You'll see Prada just before the market. |
|
You need to line up to enter, but its not a long wait. |

It felt like they had more bags vs the mall in Florence,
Or just less people grabbing. Price-wise, it's around 50% more. |
I didn't buy anything so I quickly made up for it in Causeway Bay and Wanchai after we ate at Delicious Kitchen.

It's good thing we stuffed ourselves because the next stop was the alley with toy stores in WanChai.

There are several toy store on Tai Yuen alley,
off Johnston Road. |

Towards the end, Anna and I had to take turns
watching our things as it was hard to navigate
and choose inside the stores while bumping others |
Hi,
ReplyDeleteRegarding the Prada Being 50% more in Florence is it still considered cheaper than here in the Philippines? Thanks!
