All kinds of lanterns for sale in Chinatown
Travel Bite: The Mid-Autumn Festival (known here as the moon cake festival) is also referred to as the Lantern Festival in Singapore and Malaysia. Pop-up stalls line the streets of Chinatown with different kinds of lanterns which light up, as the kids walk around with carrying their lanterns. The stalls also sell moon cake, so it's quite nice to visit Chinatown in Singapore during this time.
