The white sands of Boracay

Almost-Birthday-week starts with my favorite places in the Philippines! It would be a shame if I ignored the great places in the Philippines just because I am lucky enough to live here (for now!).

Travel Bite: Boracay has always been part of the best beaches in the world list. Getting there would be best if you find a flight that will get you directly to Caticlan - because from there, you'll be just a quick boat ride away. Kalibo would be another option, but you'll need to add atleast another 2 hours road trip to your travel time before you get to Caticlan. Accomodations in Boracay range from Super Posh (ie Shangri-La or Discovery Shores Level) to affordable. I find resorts in Station 1 the best, but that's my personal preference. just saying.
