Playa Laiya in Batangas

Travel Bite: I will end this run of my favorite Philippine Beaches with one closer to home. I llike Playa Laiya and I dream of building my beach house there some day because of it's proximity to Manila. It's around 2 hours away from Alabang, and while you can do a day trip, sleeping over night is better so you don't get too tired. There are a lot of resorts along the San Juan, Laiya coast, but it's best to reserve before arriving. They tend to get fully booked because the rates are generally reasonable.
