When in HK, eat Dimsum at Maxim's Palace

When we went to Hong Kong last June, we were a big group, so we would split up so we could do our own thing, then we would meet up whenever it was time to eat.

Our first real meal when we arrived was to eat YumCha (DimSum) Weekend Brunch at Maxim's Palace in City Hall.

We arrived there just in time to line up before they opened.
Go to place for yummy DimSum.
We made it just in time for the first seating.
Almost all these people were in line in front of us.
We were a big group so we had to split up in two tables.
The foods team and the home care girls.
The hair team and the home care boy.
There has been much progress because the
dimsum carts now have a screen. Hahaha.
Our table started grabbing dimsum from every cart that passed as if there was no tomorrow.
Three orders of Hakaw or Shrimp Dumplings.
Baked BBQ Pork Buns
Xiao Long Bao (or Soupy Pork Dumplings)
We had a very busy table, with everyone grabbing right and left.
Hunger does that.
Every time a cart passed, someone from our table would always want to try it, so it would just be a matter of us getting 3 orders or just 1 to try. Hahaha.
Asado and Shrimp Chong Fan (Rice Rolls)
Spareribs and Steamed BBQ Buns in the background
Deep Fried Taro Puffs
Almost everything we ate was really good.
These were only a few of the misses: Curry Squid,
some sort of beef tendon or brisket, and some fried crunchy sweet dough
Tsina keeping up with the foods boys! Say Siomai!
I think this was when the other table was full na so Instagram muna
#pagmaytime.
Though we were full na, we couldn't say no to the DimSum equivalent
of the dessert cart.
My favorite order is always the BBQ Pork Puffs.
The buchi was good. It had a custard-like filling.
When our table was finally full and happy.
Thank you DimSum lady for lending us your cart for our photo op.

I can't wait to eat DimSum in Maxim's again. just saying.
