Marrakech Souks



Travel Bite: A Souk is an open-air market place in the Middle East or North Africa. While Marrakech is the fourth largest city in Morocco, where a lot of French celebrities own property, and where a lot of tourists visit. Marrakech houses the largest traditional Berber Market in Morocco, with wares ranging from Berber Carpets, to colorful shawls, brassware, leathergoods, and everything in between. Expect to be given a high price, and some moroccan mint tea as bargaining is expected.
