The Best Sandwich I've eaten in Rome
Travel Bite: The best panini I've ever eaten in Rome, or should I say The Vatican is actually a cross between a really thin crust pizza sandwich and a panini. They make it like a super long sub, then they cut off a piece for you, which they sell by weight. The one we ordered had cheese, cold cuts and arugula. It was so good.
Just look for Forno Feliziani, on Via Candia, near the Vatican. It's a cozy cafe which mainly caters to the locals so you can just come to relax and enjoy the local vibe.
You can read my post on it here.
