P365 TE Day 178

Bunny Chow

Travel Bite: Whenever I travel, I normally am curious to try the local cuisine, especially if it sounds interesting. When we were in Durban, the local specialty, given the large local Indian population was Bunny Chow. It's like Clam Chowder in a breadbowl, but imagine half a loaf of white bread and instead of thin slices, it's hallowed out and filled with lamb, mutton or chicken curry but it's normally served in local fast food places, and not in posh restaurants, so go only if you're sure the area is safe.

Location: Durban, South Africa
Date Photo Taken: June 2013
