P365 TE Day 222

Sainte-Chapelle

Travel Bite: Sainte-Chapelle a medieval Gothic chapel located in the heart of Paris, on Île de la Cité, is so beautiful it definitely is worth a visit. The small chapel is almost made entirely of stained glass, and being inside has been likened to being inside a Tiffany's jewelry box.

Bonus Travel Tip: If you want to bring home a piece of the beautiful Sainte-Chapelle experience with you, you can buy an 18 gold stained glass charm from their gift shop featuring the chapel's famous rose stained glass window. They also have the stained glass from Cathedrale de Notre Dame. It was by far my most expensive museum purchase.

Location: Paris, France
Date Photo Taken: April 2006
