SINGAPORE SERIES
It's
International Museum Day (IMD) today! I didn't even know there was such a thing, but because it fell on a Friday, Singapore museums are celebrating it tomorrow, 19th May with free admission to some of the museums. They also celebrate Children's Season here and this year it will be held from 18th May to 24th June where a lot of the museums are having an Open House weekend with lots of kids activities planned. You can check the list of museums participating in IMD and Children's Season 2012
here.
When I first read about it, I saw that the
Singapore Art Museum (SAM) was doing the
Art Garden again. We really loved the Art Garden when we visited it last year and I immediately remembered that entrance is free to the SAM every Friday night from 6:00pm until closing time. It's the perfect after school activity to end the week, especially if your little one loves museums as much as mine does, so guess where we went today...

This felt like deja vu! |
